Job summary

NEW EARTH RESIDENTIAL LLC is seeking a Service Technician to join our maintenance team. This non-exempt, hourly position involves supporting community operations, performing general maintenance in common areas, and assisting with on-call emergency responses to keep residents happy and spaces fully functional.

You will report to the Service Supervisor and Community Manager, with duties including preventive maintenance, safety adherence, and strong resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC/R certification preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with time management and prioritization abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance in common areas and support operations.
• Be on-call as needed, including nights/weekends for emergencies.
• Complete service requests in occupied apartments promptly per standards.
• Oversee maintenance of mechanical systems to preserve property value.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and maintain grounds and common areas.
• Follow safety protocols and deliver courteous, 5-star resident service.
• Assist inspections and quality assurance reviews.
