Job summary

NEW EARTH RESIDENTIAL LLC seeks a Service Technician to support community operations, perform general maintenance in common areas, and assist with preventive maintenance and repairs. The role reports to the Service Supervisor and Community Manager, with on-call responsibilities for nights and weekends.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, HVAC/R certification preferred, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC/R certification (HVAC & Refrigeration) preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Proven leader committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Self-motivated with ability to set priorities, manage time and achieve goals.
• Resourceful problem solver addressing unexpected challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in English; bilingual candidates encouraged.
• Skilled in tracking and managing inventory of materials and parts.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle chemicals safely.
• Available for emergency calls during nights and weekends as needed.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to maintaining common areas and amenities.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and various internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance in common areas.
• On-call responsibilities as needed.
• Complete service requests in occupied apartments per standards.
• Oversee maintenance and prioritize resident satisfaction.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and repair mechanical systems.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Adhere to safety protocols and provide courteous service to residents.
• Assist with inspections and quality assurance reviews.
