Job summary

New Earth Residential is seeking a Service Technician to perform general maintenance in community spaces, respond to service requests, and ensure all mechanical systems run smoothly for residents. You will work under the Service Supervisor and Community Manager, with on-call duties including nights and weekends as required.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service, with opportunities to contribute to a vibrant community and participate in regular trainings and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC/R certification preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness for on-call nights/weekends as needed.
• Effective communication and teamwork with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance in common areas and respond to service requests.
• Be on-call as needed; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems ensuring resident comfort and safety.
• Monitor grounds and common areas for cleanliness and safety; assist with inventory.
• Coordinate with Program Coordinator and supervise staff/vendors as needed.
