Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for the Norris, SC area to oversee daily maintenance operations across the community, manage staff, and coordinate with vendors. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and strong resident service while ensuring compliance with EPA/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include planning resources, supervising maintenance staff, responding to service requests, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders
• Ensure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and units
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards
• Manage and order maintenance supplies inventory while budgeted
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend life and minimize repairs
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards
• Promote safe work practices and OSHA guidelines
• Lead maintenance staff under Community Manager supervision
• Ensure effective communication and on-call coverage for emergencies
