Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across community buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, and ensure safety and quality in line with Greystar standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law and must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating to represent company policies and assist residents and team members.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management; property management system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests and routine maintenance to meet community standards.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating with vendors.
• Establish standards for grounds, units, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Oversee contractors and service providers for quality and budget adherence.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; support safety and OSHA compliance.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects and participate in safety meetings.
