Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Supervisor II to provide leadership and administrative support to help meet contracted goals. You will support program staff in delivering services on-site, monitor performance, and ensure data quality.

The role emphasizes coordinating intake, service plans, and service delivery, with collaboration to keep program outcomes on track and aligned with funder expectations. A relevant degree and supervisory experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance and background checks required.
• 12 months of supervisory experience in a social services setting.
• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work with challenging or aggressive clients on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program staff to meet grant objectives, monitor service delivery and report progress to the Director.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations, oversee intake, service plans and delivery of services to clients.
• Conduct weekly case conferencing and monthly file audits to ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Ensure compliance with VOALA policies and required procedures and document processes.
• Train and mentor staff; support policy implementation and staff development.
• Coordinate outreach with community partners and stakeholders; other duties as assigned.
