Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Supervisor II to lead staff, oversee program operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services on-site. The role supports contracted goals, with emphasis on data quality, case management, and KPI attainment.

The candidate will coordinate intake, service planning, and staff training, while maintaining compliance with funder requirements and VOALA policies. Strong collaboration with community partners is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience (2 years).
• 12 months of supervisory experience in a social services setting.
• Master of Social Work preferred or related field.
• Experience with managing public contacts (HUD ESG, SAMHSA) preferred.
• Experience with report development for public funders preferred.
• Knowledge about community resources and HMIS databases.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program staff to meet grant objectives and KPIs.
• Coordinate day-to-day program operations and intake.
• Conduct weekly case conferencing and case file audits.
• Monitor compliance with VOALA policies and document procedures.
• Train and mentor staff and coordinate with community partners.
• Track and report progress to the Director.
• Ensure on-site service delivery for funded programs.
• Coordinate outreach and collaboration with stakeholders.
