Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Supervisor I to provide hands-on leadership for case management and housing stability initiatives. You will support staff, monitor daily KPIs, ensure data quality, and help the Director implement program policies.

The role requires coordinating intake, service plans, and outreach with community partners, while maintaining compliance with funder requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a social services setting.
• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks; valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Achieve grant objectives by supervising the Case Manager and Housing Specialist, providing expertise, and implementing Quality Assurance systems while informing the Director of progress.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of case manager and housing specialist, overseeing intake, service plans and housing stability plans for clients.
• Conduct weekly case conferencing and monthly case file audits to ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Monitor program compliance with VOALA policies and required procedures; maintain documentation of all program procedures.
• Assist Director with implementing policies, procedures and forms that facilitate effective operation of intensive case management and delivery of high-quality services; train and mentor staff.
• Coordinate outreach and collaboration efforts with community partners and landlords.
• Other duties as assigned.
