Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II in East Syracuse, NY to maintain, service, and repair office equipment at customer sites.

You will deliver on-site support for printers, copiers, and related devices, while building cross-functional skills and advancing your career within Toshiba. You will diagnose issues, install upgrades, and perform installations; expect to train customers and continuously improve technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in copier/office equipment repair or related areas.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance per Toshiba policy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Experience with mechanical repair or servicing of low-voltage devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide printer and copier maintenance, service, and repairs to customers.
• Deliver product training efficiently and effectively.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations/upgrades.
• Make modifications, remove old units, and retrofit existing hardware.
• Complete field calls with priority while managing time efficiently.
• Continuously enhance technical skills for field assignments.
• Rebuild components at the shop.
