Qualifications

• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (Required in Louisiana).
• At least 1 year of prior job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and ensures courteous service.
• Collects specimens following established procedures and explains the venipuncture process.
• Properly labels, processes, and stores specimens for transport.
• Completes requisitions and enters patient and billing information in PathConnect or other PathGroup systems.
• Maintains daily logs, records, and accuracy of data.
• Ensures compliance with safety, privacy, and corporate policies.
