ACS Professional Staffing is hiring a Payroll Coordinator to process biweekly payroll for 950+ employees, totaling over $90 million annually. The role is on-site in Everett, WA, with overtime and holiday pay. You’ll enter timesheets, reconcile payroll, and respond to employee questions.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of payroll experience, proficiency in payroll systems (PeopleSoft/Trapeze/UKG), and strong MS Office skills. Benefits include health, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience processing payroll.
• Associate degree or 2-year certificate may substitute for 1.5 years.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 3 years.
• General knowledge of payroll processing and accounting.
• Knowledge of FMLA and FLSA labor laws.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Typing and 10-key data entry proficiency.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Trapeze and UKG.
• Experience in transit/government/public sector or union environments.
• Strong math, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with employees and management at all levels.
• Clear written and verbal communication; timely actions and deadlines.

• Inspiring teamwork and dependable task completion.

Responsabilités

• Enter payroll exception data into payroll systems.
• Research and analyze discrepancies and document changes.
• Review payroll and documentation for accuracy.
• Calculate payroll and reconcile to reports.
• Follow records retention protocols and archive payroll records.
• Enter and validate timekeeping data.
• Ensure accuracy of timekeeping against contracts and laws.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and supervisors.
• Serve as a payroll resource for the org.
• Monitor and reconcile deduction reports and prepare payments.
• Analyze leave and related pay with Benefits input.
• Create adjusting entries and document updates.
• Collaborate with IT on system issues and updates.
