Job summary

DMS Health Technologies in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Patient Access Representative Scheduler to assess, plan, and document patient information, and perform scheduling duties for contracted accounts. This on-site role requires attention to detail and strong customer service. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., with a rotating on-call schedule every three weeks. On-call pay is $200 per week plus pay for actual hours worked during on-call time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior scheduling experience and familiarity with medical scheduling software a plus.
• Excellent customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail; professional phone demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, cancel appointments and resolve conflicts.
• Gather patient information, history and symptoms prior to exams.
• Verify daily schedules with facilities, technologists, and pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmaceuticals are ordered and delivered on time.
• Record and share relevant patient information with the technologist.
• Answer questions from patients, technologists and customers.
• Maintain complete and accurate examination records and orders.
