Job summary

Packsize International is seeking a Machine Technician in Stockton, CA to install, configure and maintain equipment at customer facilities. You will perform start-up testing, deliver training, and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires independent work, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on safety. Occasional travel to customer sites is possible, with a competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset required.
• Experience with Windows platforms and basic software tools.
• Ability to use hand tools and work with mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with mechanical platforms and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Packsize equipment onsite at customer facilities.
• Perform start-up testing and deliver customer training on product capabilities and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues using drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Conduct routine maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Analyze KPI data to identify machine performance issues and perform maintenance.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Prepare technical reports and travel arrangements as needed.
