Job summary

Packsize is hiring a Machine Technician in Stockton, CA. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining packaging equipment at customer facilities, with start-up testing and customer training on product capabilities.

You will troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and analyze KPI data to drive machine performance. Expect travel to customer sites, safety compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, software, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus
• Knowledge of Windows platforms
• Knowledge of and effective use of hand tools
• Knowledge of mechanical platforms
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Suite is helpful but not required
• Associates Degree, Vocational Training or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area preferred

Responsibilities

• Scheduling tasks at a customer's job sites
• Troubleshooting issues using drawings and documentation
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering
• Performing routine maintenance and emergency services
• Analyzing customer KPI to identify machine issues and maintenance
• Installation of Packsize solutions and training others
• Prepare and submit expense reports and travel arrangements
• Write detailed technical reports and communicate about issues clearly
