On-Site Operations Leader — Lab Services & KPIs

Job summary

RENOVO Solutions in San Diego, CA seeks a Site Operations Manager to own service delivery at a client site, unifying lab operations, site quality, and workflow management under the Regional Director of Operations.

You will lead the Technical Supervisor and Senior Instrument Service Coordinator, manage staffing and budgets, coordinate multi-vendor activity, and ensure compliance with GXP, OSHA, and client SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience, including managing through supervisors or leads.
• Demonstrated experience delivering against contracted KPIs or SLAs at site level.
• Site P&L or operating budget accountability.
• Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory environments.
• Experience with CMMS platforms, work order management, and service reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft and Google software applications.
• Existing right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own daily service delivery at the site, including maintenance, calibration, and coordination.
• Meet or exceed site KPIs and SLAs; address trends before misses.
• Own work order quality from creation to closeout.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance aligned to client priorities.
• Plan coverage including absences, vacations, peak loads and escorts.
• Identify assets at risk and initiate corrective actions.
• Serve as the senior operational escalation point at the site.
• Build relationships with lab operations, quality, and stakeholders.
• Lead site roster and staff development; onboarding.
• Manage OEM/third-party activity and site escort roster.
• Oversee site readiness for moves, consolidations, and equipment deployment.
• Maintain site SOPs, documentation and audit readiness.
• Own site budget and labor cost; monthly reconciliations with CMMS.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA, GXP requirements.
