Job summary

ShipMonk in Pittston, PA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of about 25–30 warehouse associates, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and attendance while guiding daily priorities.

You will monitor KPIs, use data to drive improvements, mentor frontline leaders, and collaborate with HR, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to solve problems.

This is an on-site role with growth opportunities as ShipMonk expands its Pittston fulfillment operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of military leadership or personnel oversight experience
• OR 2+ years of civilian leadership experience in operations, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain
• Demonstrated experience leading people, maintaining accountability, and executing operational objectives
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret data and use metrics to improve performance
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime based on business needs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop approximately 25–30 warehouse associates
• Set clear expectations and maintain accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance
• Lead shift huddles and communicate daily priorities
• Monitor operational KPIs and adjust labor and workflows as conditions change
• Use operational data to identify root causes and improve performance
• Train and develop associates while identifying future frontline leaders
• Partner with teams across HR, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to solve problems
• Maintain inventory accuracy and equipment, sanitation, and safety standards
• Communicate clearly and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, eliminate waste, and strengthen execution
