Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Day Shift in Pittston, PA. You will own a department of 25–30 associates, report to a Warehouse Manager, and lead daily operations to ensure productivity, safety, and accuracy in a fast-paced fulfillment center.

You will use real-time KPIs to guide team performance, coach staff, and implement process improvements. This growth-oriented role emphasizes internal promotion and hands-on leadership in an on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse operations, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, logistics, or a related environment.
• Experience leading teams and holding people accountable to performance expectations.
• Comfort working with operational data and using metrics to identify problems and improve results.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Start the shift with a team huddle and set priorities for the day.
• Lead, coach, and develop a 25–30 person warehouse team.
• Monitor KPIs in real time and adjust to avoid problems.
• Manage labor allocation, throughput, productivity, accuracy, attendance, and safety.
• Coach associates on the floor to fix issues early and improve performance.
• Adjust labor and priorities as volume and needs change.
• Work across departments for smooth handoffs and processes.
• Use data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Onboard new associates and reach full productivity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
