Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Naval Support Activity Mid-South in Millington, TN as a key member of the Field Services team. The role focuses on direct desk-side support to customers, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices.

The candidate must be a US citizen with DoD Secret Clearance, a HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience, and a Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience (additional education/certifications may be considered).
• Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher.
• Must demonstrate expertise in IT Enterprise Operations.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets according to SLRs.
• Ensure proper ticket-handling according to guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware/software).
• Ensure tasks are completed within set timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve local and networked devices including printers and other hardware.
• Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues.
