Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Point Loma in San Diego. You will provide direct desk-side support to VIP and executive users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure timely resolution of tickets under SLAs.

The role requires a US Citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, and a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, with 4+ years of relevant IT experience. On-site work at a government facility and 24/7 operations are expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• DoD Secret Clearance
• HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience; additional education may be considered
• Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification
• Expertise in IT Enterprise Operations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets according to established SLs
• Provide premier computer and network support to VIP and executive-level customers
• Follow guidelines for proper ticket handling and timely completion
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on user devices
• Address local and networked printers and other hardware components
• Assist other technicians on complex problems and prioritize work efficiently
• Diagnose layer 1 network issues and resolve VoIP/VTC problems
• Support a 24/7 operation, including overtime, weekends, and some holidays
