Job summary

Hines is seeking a Multisite Assistant Community Manager to support financial and operational aspects of two Virginia properties: The Emerson in Centreville and The Heights at Goose Creek in Ashburn. You will handle rent processing, reporting, and vendor payments while assisting the Community Manager with day-to-day tasks.

The role requires on-site work five days per week, a flexible schedule, and a compensation range of $19-$24.75 per hour plus bonuses and on-call pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from accredited institution.
• Two or more years prior experience in property management or in a related industry required.
• Experience with property management software preferred; Entrada experience a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of basic accounting practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily financial operations: rent collection, processing payments, deposits, reconciliations, and accounting reports.
• Reviews resident files and balances, communicates on delinquencies, and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assists with evictions per procedures and represents the community in court as needed.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices, ensuring work performed and products received are accurate.
• Processes resident move-outs by reviewing lease terms and damages.
• Supports on-site supervision in the community manager's absence and coordinates maintenance tasks.
