Job summary

Centurion Residential is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee two senior affordable housing communities in Central Virginia. The role covers leasing, compliance with LIHTC and Fair Housing, resident relations, and financial oversight across both sites.

You will manage applications, occupancy, rent collection, vendor coordination, and inspections, ensuring audit-ready files and regulatory adherence. Strong organizational skills and travel between sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive residential property management experience.
• Direct LIHTC compliance experience and resident file documentation.
• Experience with leasing, occupancy management, rent collection and inspections.
• Experience supervising onsite staff and coordinating vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of two senior affordable housing communities.
• Manage leasing, applications, wait lists, renewals, recertifications and move-outs.
• Maintain high occupancy and timely unit readiness.
• Ensure LIHTC, USDA Rural Development, Fair Housing and local compliance.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready resident and compliance files.
• Oversee rent collection, delinquency management and notices.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, invoices and variances.
• Supervise Maintenance Technician and onsite staff.
• Coordinate work orders, preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Prepare occupancy, compliance and financial reports.
• Assist in regulatory inspections and audits.
