Job Title: Community Manager (Multi-Site – Hampton)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on, and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our residential communities located in Hampton. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in all aspects of property management—from resident relations and leasing to maintenance coordination and compliance oversight. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all operational aspects of multiple residential properties, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day performance
  • Manage leasing efforts, including marketing available units, conducting tours, screening applicants, and executing lease agreements
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents while addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all regulations
  • Coordinate maintenance work orders and repairs with vendors, contractors, and internal maintenance teams
  • Enforce lease agreements and community policies while maintaining fairness and professionalism
  • Monitor occupancy, rent collections, and delinquencies to support financial goals
  • Maintain accurate records of leases, maintenance logs, and financial transactions using property management software
  • Collaborate with ownership and regional leadership to develop strategies for resident retention, marketing, and operational improvements
  • Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal housing regulations, including Section 8 and other affordable housing programs
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in residential property management, preferably overseeing multiple sites
  • Strong understanding of housing compliance requirements and affordable housing programs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Ability to manage maintenance priorities, vendor contracts, and daily property operations
  • Proficient in leasing, rent collection, and property management software (Entrata, AppFolio, or similar platforms preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Ability to effectively market and upsell property features and services to prospective and current residents
  • Professional, customer‑service‑oriented demeanor with a positive attitude
