Job summary

Hines in Dumfries, VA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily financial and operational duties at the community level. You will help manage rent collection, bank deposits, reporting, and vendor invoices while ensuring lease terms are upheld and revenues are maximized.

You will work on-site five days a week, collaborate with the Community Manager, coordinate maintenance and make-ready tasks, and interact with residents and owners to sustain satisfaction and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in property management or related field.
• Entrada experience a plus.
• Proficient with property management software.
• Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• On-site, five days per week, flexible weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager by managing financial operations at the community.
• Collect rent and payments, post deposits, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports.
• Review resident files, enforce lease terms, and manage delinquencies.
• Coordinate invoice review and payment with vendors and service providers.
• Assist in on-site supervision and maintenance coordination.
• Maintain owner relationships and provide performance updates.
• Respond to complaints and address service issues promptly.
