Job summary

Cox Fleet By Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM on mobile/field vehicles.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Valid DOT physical or medical card; 21+ years old.
• Own set of hand tools for required duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and safety.
• Manage parts inventory and document work orders via TRAIT app.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT regulations.
