Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light to heavy repairs, and diagnostics in a mobile/field environment. You will handle repairs on trucks and trailers, document findings, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, HS diploma or GED, and valid CDL/driver qualifications as applicable. Company benefits include weekly pay and extensive training.

Qualifications

• Must have DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge and be able to perform DOT inspections.
• Own a set of hand tools and maintain them.
• Experience with light-to-heavy vehicle diagnostics and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleets.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems.
• Document work and upload RO details using TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety checks and manage daily field schedule.
