Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-mid repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, test, and repair electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems, while maintaining documentation and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• A convincing combination of education/experience may apply.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Maintain service truck and inventory; document work via RO.
• Communicate with management and customers to clarify repairs.
