Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, fuel, and mechanical systems, manage parts for jobs, and document findings using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Eligible candidates must have a HS diploma or GED and 3+ years in related field, with tool set and ASE/ DOT readiness. Competitive weekly pay with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years in a related field or 5 years in related field.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Do light to heavy repairs and diagnostics in mobile environment.
• Maintain and operate the service truck and pre-/post- trip inspections.
