Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, manage parts locally, and document work using iOS devices and TRAIT app.

We seek candidates with a HS diploma and 3 years of related experience; ASE T8 certification within 18 months is required. The role offers on-site and remote possibilities with full-time hours and competitive hourly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking and cooling systems and related components.
• Document work and upload RO details using iOS device and TRAIT app.
