Job summary

Cox Fleet, part of Cox Automotive, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems while maintaining documentation in the TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED and 3 years related field experience, or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulated process; DOT physical and medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in the field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test, inspect, and document findings on RO using TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory for service truck and maintain safety checks.
• Coordinate with management on repair estimates and approvals.
