Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs across a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, manage parts, and document findings using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Safety and compliance with DOT regulations are essential. The role requires HS diploma or GED and 3 years in related field or 5 years experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with related field experience or equivalent
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months
• Ability to work in field/mobile environment and use diagnostic tools

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Manage parts inventory and document work on RO using company devices.
• Maintain safety checks and complete pre/post-trip inspections.
