Job summary

Cox Fleet in Foxborough, MA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile setting. You’ll triage complex issues, lead on-site on jobsites, and help customers with efficient, safe service.

Expect to manage parts, document work with the TRAIT app, and maintain safety checks on service trucks. Industry certifications and a valid DOT required, with company-paid training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years’ related field experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a tool set.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations and DOT medical/vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and troubleshoot issues.
• Document findings and parts used on RO via TRAIT app and company tools.
