Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive in Fall River, MA seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced diagnostics in a mobile field setting. You will work on light to heavy-duty trucks, manage on-truck parts inventory, and document repairs using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience; ASE/DOT certifications are preferred. Sign-on bonus available and weekly pay benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Perform repairs on electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Diagnose and repair various truck equipment and perform road tests to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory on service truck and document work via RO in TRAIT app.
