Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and complex repairs on a range of trucks in a mobile setting. The role requires independent work, safe driving, and accurate documentation using TRAIT on an iOS device.

OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance are mandatory, with a valid DOT medical card and 21+ years of age. We offer competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, bonuses for safe driving and performance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance knowledge and ability to pass DOT pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, cooling, engine and drivetrain systems on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain and document service records and parts used via company TRAIT app and RO documentation.
