Job summary

Cox Fleet in Orlando, FL is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will work under supervision and advance your diagnostic skills while maintaining compliance with safety and DOT regulations.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 3 years in a related field (or 5 years experience), ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid license. Weekly pay and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field or 5 years experience acceptable.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification required within 18 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT/FMCSA screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling, brakes and engine systems on trucks.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose malfunctions using Diagnostic tools and handheld devices.
• Maintain and document RO records with photos via TRAIT app on iOS device.
