Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support on-site automation at its Glendale, AZ facility. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on high-speed beverage production lines, mentoring maintenance staff and collaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering and quality teams.
Role demands hands-on ladder logic, HMI and network troubleshooting, with 12-hour day rotation and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial automation experience on high-speed production lines.
- Hands-on PLC programming; not just troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for packaging equipment.
- Diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD/servo and network issues and restore production.
- Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
