Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across the property, including corrective, preventive, routine and cosmetic tasks under supervision. You will assist with make-ready processes and respond to work orders for community areas, buildings and units in a timely manner.

This full-time on-site position requires a high school diploma and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to perform on-site software tasks; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Ensure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and units.
• Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Assist in the daily clean up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and OSHA guidelines; promote safe work practices.
