Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across community properties. The role covers corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision and includes make-ready work to meet property objectives.

Regular on-site attendance, safe work practices, and OSHA guidelines are essential. A High School Diploma and basic computer skills are required, with reliable transportation for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify, minimize and correct hazardous property conditions or liability concerns.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the community while minimizing future repairs.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the hazard communications program; teach and promote safe work practices.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested.
• Maintain accurate records regarding service requests and make-ready status.
