Job summary

Neighborly Communities is seeking a Maintenance II to manage on-site maintenance for its properties in the Oregon region. You will coordinate make-ready tasks, inspections, and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety and Fair Housing regulations.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality resident service, working closely with the Community Manager, and handling budget-related support and on-site attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of maintenance repair experience.
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete the apartment make-ready process, including inspections, repairs, painting and scheduling vendor services.
• Ensure grounds and amenities meet property standards.
• Oversee unit turnovers, inspections, work orders, and pool maintenance if applicable.
• Conduct monthly, biannual and annual inspections (safety checks, backflow tests, fire extinguishers).
• Maintain OSHA compliance for shop and equipment and ensure safety.
• Prepare maintenance reports and assist in budget preparation.
