Job summary

Wellington Advisors is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, respond to work orders, and ensure move-ins are ready for new residents at our communities. The on-site staff represents the management company and supports daily operations.

The role requires reliable maintenance skills, good customer service, and the ability to work with the Service Manager and Community Manager. On-call duties and compliance with safety standards are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year maintenance experience or training; multi-family preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to community residents.
• Communicate daily with Service Manager and Community Manager regarding move-ins, move-outs, work orders, renovations, etc.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance for the community, minimizing future expenses whenever possible.
• Daily upkeep of community common areas, including pools if applicable.
• Diagnose and perform repairs from service requests in a timely and professional manner (painting, electrical, plumbing).
• Ensure vacant apartments are made-ready for new Move-Ins according to quality standards.
• Maintain stock of maintenance supplies for timely repairs.
• Assist with inspections and required documentation; on-call as needed.
