Job summary

Legacy Partners seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician to manage daily upkeep of multifamily communities, perform repairs, and support safety and cleanliness across properties. The role requires coordinating with the Business Manager and responding to on-call emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, strong knowledge of building systems, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
• Knowledge of building systems and safety procedures.
• Ability to read work orders and maintain maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on apartments and common areas.
• Repair appliances, plumbing, and electrical items as needed.
• Paint interiors/exteriors and perform light carpentry.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and inspections.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain records, logs, and compliance with policies and standards.
• Assist residents and educate on appliance use.
• Supervise maintenance staff and participate in on-call rotation.
