Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Lakeview - Reno, NV is hiring an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager and lead the on-site maintenance team. You’ll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure property standards align with laws and company policy.

You’ll schedule preventive maintenance, inspect units before and after moves, respond to resident requests, and coordinate with contractors. A customer-focused, organized professional will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal fair housing laws and local housing provisions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• General property repair knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist on-site maintenance team and diagnose problems and repairs.
• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance tasks and apartment turns.
• Inspect apartments before and after move-ins and move-outs.
• Respond promptly to work order requests from residents and delegate tasks to staff.
• Obtain bids from outside contractors and oversee contractor work for completeness.
