Job summary

Mission Rock Residential, LLC is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to ensure property maintenance aligns with company standards and applicable laws. You may lead the on-site maintenance team and diagnose issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, ensuring timely repairs and quality workmanship.

You will inspect apartments during turnover, respond to resident requests, and coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with federal fair housing laws and local housing provisions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities; de-escalation skills.
• Knowledge of general property repairs such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry and drywall.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to multi-task, delegate, and make quick decisions.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and we do not sponsor visas at this time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site maintenance team in the Service Manager's absence.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Inspect apartments before/after moves and respond to resident work orders.
• Obtain bids from outside contractors and oversee work as needed.
