Job summary

Mission Rock Residential, LLC in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at the Rio Hill property. You will lead the maintenance team, schedule work, and ensure repairs meet company standards and legal requirements.

The role requires knowledge of property repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more, with on-site responsibility and after-hours availability. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Understanding of federal fair housing laws and local housing provisions.
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines for property operations.
• Knowledge of general property repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance at the property.
• Direct and supervise daily maintenance team activities and training.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Perform daily property inspections and coordinate with team for cleanliness.
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships and quality control.
• Complete unit turns, painting, drywall, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotation basis.
