Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure the property meets company standards and applicable laws. You will lead a maintenance team, coordinate schedules, and handle vendor relations to deliver reliable service for residents.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a compensation range of $28.00–$30.00 per hour, including incentive pay where eligible.

Qualifications

• Understanding of federal fair housing laws and local housing provisions
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines
• Knowledge of general property repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances)

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance at the property
• Coordinate maintenance operations and daily activities of the maintenance team
• Direct and supervise maintenance staff; plan, assign tasks, and review work
• Train and coach maintenance team members
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other areas
• Conduct property inspections and maintain cleanliness in partnership with the team
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships and quality control
• Complete unit turns, painting, drywall, and general wear-and-tear items
• Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies on a rotation basis
