Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure indoor and outdoor areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with make-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and EPA refrigerant certification. Some travel and weekend availability may be required. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience preferred: 1–3 years apartment maintenance.
• Licenses: Valid Driver's License.
• Certifications: EPA Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Physical Requirements: able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs; up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Travel: Routine local travel may be required for errands.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests within 24–48 hours.
• Performs make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Fixes parts and repairs to reduce replacements and limits waste.
• Tracks inventory and reorders materials as needed.
• Documents work orders and safety incidents accurately.
• Assists in inspecting contractor work for quality and scope.
