Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance processes at the property under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

The role requires daily on-site attendance, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma. You will support routine and preventive maintenance, handle make-ready tasks, and help ensure a safe, welcoming community for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Attend to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform routine, preventive, and cosmetic maintenance as directed by supervision.
• Assist in the make-ready process and maintain a safe, organized shop.
• Follow Asset Living safety policies and OSHA guidelines at all times.
• Participate in on-call emergency coverage at the community.
• Provide positive customer and resident relations and uphold property policies.
