Job summary

Asset Living in Tempe, AZ is seeking a full-time Porter to support on-site maintenance and make-ready tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. You will perform routine and cosmetic maintenance, respond to work orders, and help maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas to meet property objectives.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements, with a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Ensure repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, and common areas are completed timely
• Maintain a safe, organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community
• Maintain professional customer service and positive resident relations
• Enforce community policies delegated by supervisor
