Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance tasks at our Tampa-area property. The role involves cleaning, groundskeeping, assisting in repairs, and ensuring safe, well-maintained community spaces for residents.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. On-site work with occasional on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and care of the property, including preventive and cosmetic work.
• Clean, manage trash, and maintain grounds and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed in a timely manner.
• Daily inspection of grounds and buildings to identify hazards and maintain safety.
• Support maintenance supervisor and community manager; follow safety policies.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
• Provide strong customer and resident relations; project a positive image.
• Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisors.
