Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance at our community. You will assist in corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance and handle make-ready tasks under supervision to meet property objectives.

Day-to-day duties include on-site attendance, cleaning, grounds work, responding to resident requests, and maintaining a safe maintenance shop. You’ll follow OSHA guidance and Fair Housing laws while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property.
• Make-ready process under supervision of Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Regular on-site attendance is required.
• Clean, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program and safety practices.
