Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a live-in, on-site leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety across a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

The position requires 2+ years in a kitchen leadership role, strong scratch baking skills, and ServSafe Allergens certification. Expect a demanding 6‑day, 70‑hour week with housing provided.

Qualifications

2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
Strong leadership, scratch baking, and ability to navigate iPad and kitchen tech.
Willingness to live on-site and work a demanding schedule.
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
Oversee production for designated day part and ensure timely meal service.
Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
Monitor inventory, budget, and reporting; support admin tasks.
Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
